Update 0.3


Major Changes

-Several new locations, NPCs and enemy types have been added.

-Multiple quests have been added, including the beginning of a larger questline.

-The basics of a magic system have been implemented. Talk to the man in blue robes in Sheillach Village to learn more.

-You can get employed as an alchemist now. Talk to Hoyle the alchemist, either after completing his fetch quest or after rejecting it. This career mechanic will be heavily expanded in future updates to support many different occupations.

-Added the option to knock out and stealth kill NPCs.

-Dual-wielding has been implemented.

-Added a variety of crafting stations that allow the production of food, weapons and jewellery.


Bugfixes and Polishing

-Projectile collisions are far more stable and don't rely on high framerates anymore. Arrows glitching through enemies or objects should be a thing of the past now.

-All save games starting from version 0.3 will be forward compatible. You will no longer have to start a new game to play all new content (or at least that's the plan).

-When sprinting while holding a weapon, characters use the generic sprint animation for the upper body now, instead of holding the weapon in front of them.

-Fixed a bug where equipment items would be erased from the quickslot bar after being equipped.

-Weight of equipment is now added to the carryweight. Max carryweight has been increased to balance this.

-Improved blood effect that indicate how effective an attack was.

-Damage, durability and weight of some weapons have been rebalanced. Many new weapons are available now.

-Defense ratings of equipment are displayed more clearly.

-The interaction system has been reworked to make interactions more dynamic.

-The economy received some minor improvements. Traders are less likely to run out of goods.
